OneLog AG offers the participating media companies various products and services. The Swiss media login OneLog is the joint login of the Swiss Digital Alliance — the association of the largest Swiss media and publishing houses.
OneID is the newly developed advertising ID. Both products are developed and operated independently of each other, and no data is shared between them.
Thank you for your interest.
A simple email to oneid@onelog.ch with your contact details is enough. We will then get back to you as soon as possible.
Advertisers have access to their own user data and can also determine on which websites a user has seen the respective campaign. However, the OneID does not allow access to raw user data from publishers, and advertisers are therefore unable to collect data outside of campaign data.
User data is not accessed. A pseudonymisation ID is created on the basis of OneID, nothing more. The user data of advertising customers who work with the ID is also never shared.
Yes, the OneID is always pseudonymised and encrypted.
Yes, and it is only implemented for users who give their consent. Consent is obtained via the respective CMP or via the publisher's cookie banner.
OneID can be deactivated using the usual opt-out mechanisms used by the publishers.
OneID provides a portal through which users can access and delete their data at any time: https://privacycenter.oneid.live.
Please note that the publisher's opt-out can and should be used for data stored by publishers.
OneID is developed under Swiss and European data protection standards. Whenever possible, infrastructure in Switzerland is used. However, all data remains securely in the EU.
OneID is continuously checked for compliance with Swiss and European data protection standards using the same strict security measures, and with the support of an independent DPO and the data protection organisations of TX Group, Ringier, CH Media and NZZ.
No.
OneLog and OneID are independent products and the consent regulations are also independent of each other. Obtaining consent is always the responsibility of the respective publisher or advertiser.
No.
Even if OneID makes functionalities such as frequency caps or re-targeting possible again: The solution is only implemented with consent and with full transparency towards the users. Users have the option of deleting their ID and/or requesting information about what data has been stored about them at any time.
In principle, all users who have given their consent can be reached via OneID.
OneID is a so-called advertising ID. It allows users to use the same advertising ID across several publishers and also across advertisers' sites, allowing the targeting of advertising (such as frequency caps) to be optimised.
No.
OneID can be used independently of a login or a specific login solution such as OneLog. However, only logged-in users can be addressed across devices.
OneID is only available on inventories that have technically integrated the solution. In principle, all providers are free to participate in OneID.
We work with various technology providers and in-house developments. Only European technology partners with strict data protection standards and server infrastructure in Europe and, whenever possible, in Switzerland are used.
OneID is designed for programmatically booked campaigns. Basic functionalities such as frequency capping can be used directly in supported DSPs. Advanced functions such as re-marketing require technical integration on the part of the advertiser and a corresponding agreement.
OneID provides the common advertising ID for the various parties.
How this ID is used is entirely within the control of the marketers/publishers and each publisher can decide individually to which DSPs the IDs are transferred. However, marketers endeavour to make the ID available to as many advertisers as possible, provided that all data protection and technical conditions are met.

Yes.
The utilisation of OneID across multiple providers works regardless of the respective provision of inventory.
OneID is gradually being rolled out on the majority of websites of the following marketers/publishers: audienzz, CH Media, Ringier Advertising, and Goldbach. At the same time, OneID is available as an open solution to all other publishers.
OneLog is one of several login providers that can be used to record a user's email. Just as with other login providers, OneLog also pseudonymizes the email address and converts it into an encrypted ID by OneID.
Transparency is a central concern of the OneID initiative.
User consent is obtained from publishers using IAB Europe's proven Transparency and Consent Framework. Advertisers who want to use OneID must inform their customers about how and for what purpose their data is being used. This is checked by OneLog before the use of OneID is authorised.
